During the April 22, 2016 Leo meeting the Manheim Township lions Club presented the following awards to members of the Leo Club:
In recognition of and appreciation for contributing personal time and effort to be involved with and assist the members of the Manheim Township Lions Club, 37 Manheim Township Leo Club members received their Certificates of Appreciation for participating in from 1 to 7 service projects.
The Leo Completion of Service Certificates were presented to the 15 Leo seniors in recognition of their service to the Leo Club and community.
Leo President Ross was recognized as the recipient of the Distinguished Leadership and Community Service award for being a distinguished Leo Senior who is not only a well-rounded student, but one who excels within and beyond the classroom in areas of leadership, personal integrity and community service which are part of the Leo motto: Leadership, Experience and Opportunity. Leo Ross will receive the award at the MTHS Senior Awards Night on May 18, 2016.
MTHS Faculty Advisor to the MT Leo Club Mr. Wayne Kantz received a Certificate of Appreciation award in recognition of and appreciation for his concern, time, effort and advice given to the officers and members of the Manheim Township Leo Club during the 2015-2016 Leo Club school year.

On April 25, 2016 members of the Leo Club were guests of the Lions at our dinner meeting. The program, which highlighted their activities and projects for the year.was presented by Leo president Ross.
